SOCIAL AWARENESS CENTRE (SAC) NEPAL is a non-profit organisation that provides social services. The Social Awareness Centre (SAC) was founded on August 14, 1995, with the goal of enhancing community development, resolving local issues, and effecting positive change for the upliftment of underprivileged communities and the reduction of prevalent problems in an organised manner. It was founded in August 1995 by a group of dedicated, motivated, aware, and enthusiastic young people. We have already implemented several projects in various areas of Nepal. We have worked in 20 different districts across Nepal, with an emphasis on Karnali Province.

SOCIAL AWARENESS CENTRE (SAC) NEPAL is a non-profit organization that provides social services. It has launched initiatives in coordination and partnership with various levels of government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), inter-governmental organizations (INGOs), and other key stakeholders, focusing on both rural and urban persons with low socioeconomic status. Plan International Germany is now conducting the three-year Breaking Barrier for SRHR (BBaGS) project (2024-2027) in Thuli Bheri, Tripura Sundari Municipality of Dolpa district, Karnali province, with the cooperation of Plan International Nepal.

The project’s goal is to empower girls in Nepal’s rural communities to make educated decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through more awareness and better services, resulting in delayed marriage and reduced teen pregnancy.   To attain this goal, the project will use a socio-ecological model and will involve a wide range of stakeholders. The project will be carried out in the lower portion of Dolpa district.

SAC Nepal is looking for experienced and qualified consultants to lead a three-day workshop and create a handbook and CSE activity card for our peer-peer groups and project teams. Interested consulting firms or individual consultants can see the attached terms of reference for more information.

REQUIRED DOCUMENT:

The consultancy firms are requested to submit the following:

• In the proposed human resources’ CV,
• Provide a concise technical proposal with an overview of the EOI, recommended approach, deliverables, and a tentative work plan with timelines.
• Provide a detailed financial plan that includes preparation, fee travel, hotel, and reporting costs.
• Copy of VAT registration, company registration and renewal, updated TAX clearance certificate, and signed code of conduct and TOR (only applicable for firms).

APPLICATION PROCUDRE:

Interested and eligible consulting firms/consultants are requested to submit proposals on the basis of the accompanying TOR to SAC, Nepal Surkhet. Proposals can be submitted via email at sacquotation@gmail.com by February 27th, 2025, or in hardcopy at SAC Nepal’s Head Office in Surkhet or Project Filed Office in Dunai Bazar Dolpa (contact number provided)

Bids received after the deadline will not be considered, and only shortlisted service providers will be contacted for further processing. Canvassing at any level of the process shall result in automatic disqualification. The organization maintains the right to qualify or deny an application with or without offering any reason. All proposals will be treated with complete confidentially.
